At Growing Love, our mission teams don’t come to do just one thing—they come to experience the heart of what God is doing through all three areas of our ministry: student, family, and community empowerment.
While every team has its own unique skills and focus, each trip is designed to give you a well-rounded picture of how these areas work together to break the cycle of poverty and plant seeds of lasting change. Throughout your time in Honduras, you’ll not only serve but also listen, learn, and build relationships that deepen your understanding of the realities and resilience of life in rural communities.

Throughout your time in Honduras, you’ll take part in experiences that connect you to the people and programs that make up the heart of Growing Love. These moments allow you to learn, listen, and build relationships—offering a window into the beauty and challenges of life in rural communities.
During your trip, you may:
Join a Growth and Connection meeting with our scholarship students—participating in devotionals, small groups, or activities that encourage their spiritual and academic growth.
Walk home from school with a student, where you will visit their family, hear their story, and pray together.
Meet community leaders and school staff members who are working faithfully to strengthen and serve their communities.
Spend time with our local team, learning more about the ministry’s work and the ways God is moving in and through our partnerships.
Every team brings something unique, and we love creating opportunities for you to serve in your area of passion or skill. Depending on your background and the needs at the time of your visit, your team may help with or lead projects such as:
Medical brigades or health education
English or computer classes
Business, leadership, or vocational trainings
Workshops for teachers, parents, or community leaders
Children’s programs or VBS-style activities
Family Fun Days
Construction or home improvement projects
Whatever your role, our prayer is that you experience both the joy of serving and the growth that comes from stepping into what God is doing here—allowing His love to grow in you and through you.
